Laser resurfacing is now state-of-the-art with the most advanced Erbium-YAG laser by Sciton. Unlike CO2 and other older lasers which produce extensive downtime and lengthy periods of healing, Erbium-YAG lasers are now highly selective and controllable to allow a wide range of skin resurfacing techniques. Also, unlike problems in darker skinned individuals with older lasers, Sciton lasers have proven extremely safe with essentially no uneven pigmentation problems. Greater flexibility allows everything from a superficial microlaser peel to a very aggressive scanner which covers all areas quickly and uniformly. As with all our techniques, ample pain control including IV sedation and anesthesia under complete monitoring and the care of a certified Anesthetist, is available to facilitate a comfortable and safe procedure.
